There is much to explore at the outdoor pool in Valdaora. While the adults enjoy the view over the Dolomites, treat themselves with a massage shower or relax on the underwater lounger, it’s time for the kids to play and have a good time. Wave bay, diving board or kids pool – never-ending fun is guaranteed. The beach volleyball court, table tennis and the kid’s playground are great places for sports.

The playground and adventure area covers several hundred square metres and has a forest playground, a climbing park, a water world and themed play areas. … at one of the two nearby riding stables. Kids as well as adults profit from the social interaction with the animals. At the stud farm Tolderhof there are 30 well-trained warmbloods and sturdy Haflingers, and it is, as well as the Tharerhof, one of the largest riding stables in South Tyrol.

At archery in Valdaora you need skills and concentration. The 3D archery course Kron Arc Adventure offers action for the whole family. Depending on the skill level, you can hunt with bow and arrow for 3D animal models positioned in the forest. Can you get them all?

Winter fun in summer

… at Kids Fun Park. Sliding down the green slope with tubes – just like tobogganing, only in summer. At the fun park, action fans can go on a ride with the mountainboards. Daring manoeuvres or high jumps – nothing is impossible.

Hiking at Plan de Corones in summer

Valdaora and its mountain landscape can be wonderfully explored by foot, on the diverse hiking and walking routes. Many of them are stroller-friendly. Either you start on your own or together with one of our professional guides. They will take you on easy and moderate hikes to the most beautiful places in the area. There is something for every taste and skill level.

Biking in Valdaora

The unique nature can not only be explored by foot, but also by bike. Especially in summer, when the breeze refreshes you and freedom feels limitless. Hotel Fameli is located directly on the family biking route of Val Pusteria and has its own (and free) bike rental. Your ideal starting point. Relaxed family tour, ambitious mountainbike route or fast downhill trail – the area has lots to offer. The way back can often be made comfortably by train.

The 1^st day starts with a morning run in the Valdaora forest. After breakfast, a comfortable hike to Monte Specie on Prato Piazza. In the afternoon we visit the fruit factory Alpe Pragas – with a side trip to Lago di Braies afterwards. Back at the hotel, it is time to splash around in the outdoor pool. To end the day, we enjoy homemade stick bread with the kids in the courtyard.

The 2^nd day starts with a morning walk in the Valdaora meadows. After breakfast, we take the lift to Plan de Corones to visit the Lumen Museum. The afternoon begins with a romantic horse carriage ride in Valdaora and ends with a baking workshop in the Kids Area at the hotel. In the evening we enjoy an aperitif and listen to the live music at the hotel bar.

On the 3^rd day we really sleep in. In the mid-morning we will visit the animal park Reierhof in Val Casies and in the afternoon a short bike tour takes us to the Kids World in Valdaora di Sopra. In the late afternoon we will make a trip to the old town Brunico – to stroll around and visit the castle. And in the evening the kids can party at the mini disco in the garden.

The 4^th day begins with a morning walk in the Valdaora meadows. After breakfast, we will continue by foot on a guided family hike in Tesido. The afternoon is full of kids’ fun: tubing at Panorama and back at the hotel jumping on the trampoline in the garden. In the evening we can take part in the table football tournament in the garden.

The 5^th day starts sporty, with a morning run in the Valdaora forest. After breakfast, we take a walk around Lago di Anterselva. In the afternoon we visit the dairy show in Dobbiaco and afterwards we go climbing at the boulder hall in Valdaora. A special atmosphere awaits you on the lantern walk in the evening.

On the 6^th day we again sleep in. After breakfast the joint bike tour to San Candido starts. In the afternoon we visit the adventure mountain Baranci and take a ride with the fun bob summer toboggan. Back in the hotel we get creative: in the handicraft workshop. In the evening we go for a pleasant walk through the village.

The 7^thday begins with a morning walk in the Valdaora meadows. After breakfast, we take a trip to the Three Peaks. They can be hiked around, also there are easy and more challenging tours with great views – for every skill level. In the late afternoon, we will do our best at the archery at Panorama. Our singing talents will be shown in the evening at the karaoke in the Kids Area.
